Privacy Policy

The short version

Your test answers never leave your device. Scoring happens entirely in your browser, we never see which boxes you tick, and there is no account, no sign-up, and no name or email field anywhere on this site. The only data involved in running this site is the aggregate analytics and cookie activity described below, so this page is short on drama and long on specifics.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your individual test answers or your score. There is no server-side record of what you checked. If you close the tab, your answers are gone. We also never ask for personal details: no registration, no newsletter, no forms that capture your identity.

Analytics we use

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand traffic in aggregate: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or region level), what device and browser they use, and how they move around the site. Clarity may record anonymized session replays (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks) with sensitive content masked. IP anonymization is applied where the provider supports it. None of this is linked to your test answers, because your answers are never transmitted in the first place. You can read how these providers handle data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Microsoft's privacy documentation for Clarity.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; web beacons and similar identifiers serve the same purpose. This site uses them for two things: analytics (recognizing that two page views belong to the same anonymous visit) and, if advertising launches, ad delivery. You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site keeps working without them, since your score is computed locally either way.

Advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense. If we do, Google and its certified ad partners act as third-party vendors and use cookies, including the Google advertising cookie (historically known as the DoubleClick cookie), to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. Ad partners may also use web beacons to measure whether ads were seen. Three things you can do about that: opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, opt out of many third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info/choices, or block third-party cookies entirely in your browser. Non-personalized ads may still appear; they rely on context rather than your history.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland

Where consent rules apply, ads and measurement for visitors in these regions run through a Google-certified consent flow before any personalized advertising cookie is set, and you can decline. You also have the rights the GDPR grants: access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. Since we hold no personal data about you, most requests resolve to "there is nothing on file," but the analytics providers listed above offer their own controls, and we will help you route a request to them. Legal basis for our aggregate analytics is legitimate interest in understanding site usage.

If you are in the United States

State privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you the right to know what personal information a business collects, to request deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect it beyond the aggregate analytics described above. If advertising cookies count as "sharing" under your state's definition, the opt-out links in the Advertising section above are the mechanism to stop it.

Who this site is for

The test deals with adult experiences and is intended for visitors 18 and older. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18. There is nothing to collect, but the point stands.

Changes to this policy

If our actual practices change (for example, when advertising goes live), this page changes first and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly start collecting things this page says we do not.
